Client Success Specialist

The Client Success Specialist is responsible for ensuring Recruit Rooster clients receive exceptional service and maximize the value of our recruitment marketing solutions. This role manages existing client accounts, supports contract renewals, and identifies opportunities for upselling. The Client Success Specialist will also assist and report to the VP of Client Success & Implementation, contributing to the achievement of client satisfaction, revenue, and retention goals.

Essential job functions for this position:

  • Implement, manage, and optimize client career sites, job search platforms, and related technologies.
  • Achieve renewal, service delivery, and upsell objectives to drive client and business success.
  • Collaborate with team members to ensure client solutions are within scope, feasible, and aligned with client satisfaction goals.
  • Maintain, troubleshoot, and resolve technical issues with career sites, job search sites, and supporting technologies to ensure seamless client experiences.
  • Research and stay current on recruitment marketing technologies, industry trends, and the competitive landscape.
  • Plan, track, and manage workflows through JIRA Software to ensure timely delivery and quality outcomes.
  • Configure and utilize Google Analytics and Google Search Console to measure site performance, consult with clients, and recommend data-driven improvements.
  • Conduct quality assurance testing on both existing and newly launched websites.
  • Compile, analyze, and present web analytics insights to both prospects and clients.
  • Perform basic HTML and CSS updates for administrative and maintenance tasks.
  • Respond promptly and professionally to clients, ensuring timely communication and issue resolution.

Required education / experience:

  • Bachelor’s degree and/or equivalent experience.

Required skills

Technical skills

  • Strong understanding of UI, cross-browser compatibility, general web functions and standards.

Language skills

  • Ability to use logic and reason to analyze and solve problems related to people, business, and technical functions and systems.
  • Ability to effectively present information and respond to questions from groups of managers, members and prospects.

Mathematical skills

  • Equivalent math skills required for bachelor’s degree.

Reasoning ability

  • Ability to diagnose and solve problems without assistance.

Leadership attributes

  • Ability to work in a cohesive team environment.
  • Ability to diffuse escalated issues.

Preferred skills

  • Ability to work independently.
  • Ability to set up and manage home network and backup.
  • Teamwork, clear verbal communication, knowledge of cross-browser compatibility and web user interface design (UI).

Physical demands and requirements

  • This is largely an office role. Some travel may be required.
