When Frontdoor first came to Recruit Rooster for help, their site had no SEO power since it was not built on a domain that they owned. In addition, their previous site lacked imagery, and it was also missing key features, such as a unified place to search for open positions, a way to sort by locations, and videos to show off their corporate culture.
After meeting with their team, the determined goal was to design a career site that better aligned with their corporate brand standards and highlighted their overarching brand, company culture, and values. The solution

Every Recruit Rooster solution is tailored specifically to the needs of our client.

Like all of Recruit Rooster’s career sites, Frontdoor’s new site was built to be accessible, search engine optimized, and mobile responsive. Since the previous career site did not have a unified place to search for open positions, this was the Roosters’ natural first step. It’s no secret that an ATS job search experience is not ideal, and thankfully, the new job search page keeps the candidate on the career site while browsing through open positions and jobs descriptions until the moment they click apply.

As part of the solution, the Roosters used their Flexible Homepage Template, which allowed them to incorporate Frontdoor’s branding and additional features, which were previously limited with their ATS. The site also now includes a variety of content pages, covering topics like ‘Life at Frontdoor’, benefits, career areas, and locations to give job seekers better insight into the company and its culture.

A major factor on any website, career-related or not, is the content, and let’s just say the Roosters delivered! Frontdoor did not want to build out a brand-new career site just to insert generic stock photos that did not represent their company culture. This is where our Creative Services Team came in. The Rooster team went on-site to their headquarters in Memphis, Tennessee for two days to shoot photos of the office spaces, capture how the employees interact, and record a first-person candidate experience video.
This boldly branded video is now front and center, featured in the site’s header and captures what it’s like to go through the interview process, onboarding, and work day at Frontdoor. All the creative assets provided feature Frontdoor employees–not a stock image in sight!
