The Video Production Specialist is responsible for the creative direction of our brands and clientele’s video efforts. This role primarily focuses on identifying recruitment goals and the desired employment brand of employers to then create, develop, and edit digital videos, photos, employee testimonials and organizing large volumes of digital content. The Video Production Specialist works closely with Sales, Client Success, and Implementation teams to complete projects in the timelines set forth in project scope. Some travel is necessary.
Essential job functions for this position:
- Consult with clients, produce, edit, and manage video content
- Develop large- and small-scale promotional videos while ensuring video content aligns with brand guidelines
- Ability to travel 15%
- Contribute to the overall company’s marketing strategy and efforts through video
- Additional duties as assigned
Other significant job functions include:
- Strong understanding of final cut pro and adobe creative suites
- Compile and report video analytics across various platforms
- Strong customer service aspect required with consultation ability
- Ability to handle multiple projects simultaneously.
- Comply with company policies and procedures and all applicable laws and regulations
Required education/experience:
- Relevant Bachelor’s Degree, or equivalent combination of education and experience
Required skills:
Technical skills
- Understanding of the Basic Functions of a DSLR Camera
- Deep Understanding of Final Cut Pro, Apple Motion, and/or Adobe Premiere
- Proficient with Microsite Office Suite, PowerPoint, Word, and Excel
- Strong Time Management Skills
- Staying Updated with Industry Trends and Best Practices
Language skills
- Ability to read, analyze and interpret various levels of business communications
Mathematical skills
- Above average knowledge of mathematics and ability to interpret data
Reasoning ability
- Ability to listen, identify issues and provide resolutions/recommendations
- Must have strong business etiquette within all communications in relation to business
- Ability to prioritize and coordinate multiple projects and competing work demands
Preferred required skills:
- Prior Experience Working as a Freelance Video Editor, or Casual Video Editing Experience
- Familiarity with Studio Shooting, Lighting Equipment, and Audio Editing Skills
- Multi-camera Editing Experience
- Familiarization with HTML, CSS, and JavaScript a plus
Physical demands and requirements:
