As the joke goes, the chicken crossed the road–why, you ask–to get to the other side. Our Recruit Rooster team doesn’t just cross the road. They go the extra mile on each project to make sure each project has a seamless user experience from start to finish. Well, this month, our team of Roosters led the flock, going above and beyond to launch fresh career sites out into the world. Maybe viewing some of these new projects will give you some ideas on how you can renew and refresh your own career site.

HD Supply: Career Site Rebranding

Establishing a strong brand identity is vital for any business, and in most cases, the brand continues to evolve–just like a company’s career site. HD Supply knew their career site needed a refresh to align with the branding on their new corporate site. Thankfully our team of Roosters hatched a plan that allowed HD Supply to create a seamless career site experience, making the job seeker feel as though they were still on the corporate site. The branding, coupled with fresh design elements, created a winning career site for HD Supply and another feather in our Roosters’ caps.

Walsh Group: Career Site Refresh

As a fourth-generation, family-owned company, the Walsh Group is dedicated to delivering exceptional customer service to their many customers. They wanted their career site to be a direct reflection of that dedication, so when coming to the Recruit Rooster team for assistance, they knew just what to do. The team spun up a career site that not only reflects their status as the 13th largest contractor in the United States, but provides job seekers with quick, no-fuss access to employment opportunities. With the Walsh Group branding in place, the team was able to advance their career site and their user experience with a simple template upgrade.

Acosta: Career Site Update

Sometimes a little change makes a significant impact, and for Acosta, the Recruit Rooster team did just that. A simple redesign of the header and the footer was all that was needed to create a cohesive, branded career site experience that matched the appearance of the main corporate site.

AspenTech: Career Site Revisions

Creating a bold career site experience can start with small changes and progress forward from there. For Aspen Technology the “small change” started when they choose to redesign the header and footer of their career site to coincide with the branding seen on their corporate site. Now, with this simple adjustment, the look and feel of the top navigation and footer links seen on their corporate career site have been carried over to surround the searchable jobs on their career site.

Texas Health Resources: Career Site Renewal

Check out the simple look of the Texas Health Services career site by visiting:

Like Acosta and AspenTech, Texas Health saw the advantages of making small strides forward with their career site, and revised their career site’s header and footer. Making minor tweaks here and there not only help lend to the consistency of the user experience, but also helps solidify the branding seen throughout the pages.

The Home Depot: Military Crosswalk Replacement

About-Face and check out the new military crosswalk and branding seen on

The Home Depot is known far and wide in the HR community as a recognized leader in employment branding due to their transparency and candidate communication. The female brains behind this branding mission even spoke to our Members at our 2013 Annual Meeting & Conference and shared tips for expanding your brand and gaining a foothold on social media. Fast-forward to 2019 and this team is still hitting the branding game hard, and turned to the Recruit Rooster team when they became heavily vested in military recruitment efforts. After replacing the company’s Military Crosswalk and revitalizing the branding efforts, the site is now fit to share with military and transitioning servicemen and women around the nation. Kudos to the Roosters for helping The Home Depot fulfill its mission!
